Bhaskars Hair Weaving Centre is located at A 1 Main Varindavan Enclave on Batala Road in Amritsar. We are right opposite the petrol pump, so it’s pretty easy to find us if you are driving along that way. Our work is a bit more specific than just cutting hair, as we deal with hair weaving and helping people with thinning hair. The shop has a quiet atmosphere compared to the noisy Batala Road outside. We have a few private areas because we know people like their privacy when they are getting this kind of work done. The room is filled with the tools of our trade—different types of hair pieces, adhesives, and fine combs. We spend a lot of time sitting and working carefully with our hands. It’s a bit of a slow process, not like a quick five-minute haircut. Outside, you can hear the trucks and buses going towards the city center and the smell of fuel from the pump across the street often drifts in. We’ve been here in Varindavan Enclave for a good while now. Most people come to us through word of mouth, someone telling a friend or a neighbor about what we do. We don't have a flashy storefront, just a simple sign that lets people know they’ve reached Bhaskars. It’s honest work that requires a lot of patience, and we are happy to be doing it here in Amritsar.
