Mahadev Lodge & Restaurant

Mahadev Lodge and Restaurant is in Savarkundla, in the Amreli area. You can find us right above the Heera Market in the Nadi Bazar. Because we are above the market, it can get a bit noisy with all the traders and shoppers downstairs. We have both rooms for staying and a place to eat. Most of our guests are people who come to the market for business and need a place to crash for a night or two. The rooms are not fancy at all. They just have the basics like a bed and a fan and a place to put your bags. We are a lodge, not a luxury hotel. The restaurant serves local food that is popular around here. We get our vegetables and stuff from the market right below us, so it is convenient. My uncle and I run the place together. It is a lot of work to manage the rooms and the kitchen at the same time. We have a few staff members who have been with us since the beginning. We don't have a website or do any social media. People just know we are here. The building is old and needs a lot of upkeep, so we are always fixing something. It is just a simple, local business. We are not trying to grow into a big chain. We just want to keep things running for the people who come to Savarkundla for work or shopping. It is a busy life but we are used to it and we like it.
