You can find us on the 1st floor in Amreli, right opposite the Marketing Yard. It’s a very busy area because of all the trading and the farmers coming in with their goods. Because we are on the first floor, you have to walk up the stairs, which some people find a bit tiring, but it gives a bit of a view of the street below. Our dining hall is mostly full of people who work at the yard. They come in for a quick thali or a simple meal before heading back to work. We don't have air conditioning or fancy interiors. We just have big fans that keep the air moving. The tables are long so you might end up sitting next to someone you don't know, but that’s just how it is here. We try to keep the food feeling like it was made at home. Nothing too oily or spicy unless that's what's requested. We go through a lot of flour and vegetables every day. The kitchen starts early in the morning to get everything ready for the lunch rush. It’s a lot of work, but we’ve been doing it for a long time. We aren't looking to become a big famous place. We just want to keep serving the people who come to the Marketing Yard. It’s a plain, hardworking place for hardworking people. We keep the water jars full and the floor swept as much as we can.
