Puja Viahr Restaurant

Our restaurant is located right on the Rajkot Bhavnagar Highway in the Babra area of Amreli. We are situated near the Shah Petrol Pump, which is a good landmark for travelers driving through this part of Gujarat. Being on the highway means we see a lot of different people every day, mostly truck drivers and families on long road trips. It is a dusty and hot stretch of road, so we try to keep our place as comfortable as we can for anyone stopping by. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen preparing batches of food that can be served quickly. People on the road are usually in a hurry, so we have learned to work fast. The noise from the trucks passing by is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We are just a local business trying to make a living on this busy route. There are no fancy decorations or complicated menus here, just honest food and a place to sit down for a bit. The heat in Amreli can be quite intense in the summer months, so we make sure to have plenty of cold water ready. We have been at this location for a few years and have seen the highway change quite a bit. It is hard work and the hours are long, but we like meeting people from different places who are just passing through.
