Sukhsagar Family Restaurant

Our place is right at Jaistam Chowk in Amravati. It’s a very central spot, right opposite the City Kotvali. Because of where we are, there’s always something going on outside the window. We see the police, the shoppers, and all the traffic going through the junction. We call it a family restaurant because that’s mostly who comes in. On weekends, it’s full of kids and grandparents. We’ve got big tables to fit everyone. The menu is quite large, so it takes people a while to decide what they want. We do all sorts of things, but mostly people come for the North Indian dishes. The kitchen is always busy, and you can hear the chefs shouting orders back and forth. It’s not the quietest place to eat, but it has a good energy to it. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when every table is taken, but we try to keep things moving. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny signs. Most people know us just by walking past or hearing from a friend. The decor is pretty old-fashioned, but it’s comfortable. We keep the lights bright and the water cold. It’s a straightforward family business. We’ve been at Jaistam Chowk for a long time and we’ve seen the city change quite a bit from our front door. It’s just a place to eat hot food with your family and talk about your day.
