Deshi Vilayti Restaurant

We are situated in the Old Cotton Market at Chaudhary Chowk in Amravati. It is an old part of the city with a lot of history in the cotton trade. Our restaurant is part of Hotel Adarsh. The name Deshi Vilayti is a bit funny, but it just means we try to do a bit of everything. We have local food and then some other things that are a little different. The area around Chaudhary Chowk is always full of trucks and people working hard. It’s a gritty, hardworking part of town. We aren't a fancy place where you need to wear your best clothes. You can just come in as you are after work. The building is older, but it has character and keeps the sun out. We have been serving food here for years. Amravati gets very hot in the summer, so our dining room is a place to get away from the heat for a bit. We don't have a corporate office or a big manager. It’s just the owner and a few helpers in the kitchen. We buy our vegetables from the market nearby every morning. We don't like to waste things. It’s a straightforward business. We provide a service to the people who work in the cotton market and the travelers staying at the hotel. It is a simple life and we are happy with it. Come by if you are in the market.
