Our place is on Itwari Main Road in Amravati. We are right by Chitra Chowk, which is a very busy intersection. If you’ve ever been around there, you know how much noise and movement there is all day long. We opened up this bhojannalaya to serve simple, home-style food to the people working nearby or those passing through for shopping. It’s a plain room with enough tables for people to sit comfortably for a bit. We mostly do thalis because it’s easier for everyone. I spend a lot of my time at the front, watching the street and making sure the plates are going out on time. The building itself is older, and we’ve had to fix things here and there over the years. It’s not a fancy place where you’d take someone for a big celebration, but it’s good for a daily lunch. The heat in Amravati can be quite tough in the summer months, so we keep the fans going as much as we can. We get a mix of regulars who work in the shops nearby and travelers who are just stopping for a quick bite. We don't have a fancy menu or a big staff. It's just a few of us making sure the food is ready when the lunch rush starts. It’s a regular job in a regular part of town.
