Being right near Zilha Stadium on Morshi Road means things get quite loud whenever there is a match or some event happening. We’ve been running Raushan Restaurant for some time now in Shop No 6. It’s a simple place with metal chairs and tables that we wipe down a hundred times a day. People stop by for a quick bite while they are heading towards Camp or the Panchvati area. The kitchen is always a bit noisy with the sounds of pans hitting the stove and the staff shouting orders back and forth. We get a lot of locals who live around Amravati and just want something that tastes like home. We don’t have any air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that spin as fast as they can during the summer months. It gets pretty hot in here then, but the food keeps people coming back anyway. The menu is written on a board, though most regulars don't even look at it anymore, they just tell us what they want. Sometimes we run out of certain vegetables by late evening because we buy everything fresh from the market in the morning. It’s just how we work. The stadium crowd changes things on weekends, making the whole street packed with scooters and cars. We just try to keep up with the rush and make sure everyone gets their plate on time without too much delay.
