Simply Rooted Farmers Producer Company Limited

We set up our office on the first floor near the new bus stand in Naraingarh. It is right on the main road that goes between Nahan and Chandigarh. Being near the bus stand means there are always people moving around and plenty of noise from the horns. Simply Rooted Farmers Producer Company Limited is a bit of a project we started to help organize the local farmers around Naraingarh. We chose this spot because it is easy for everyone to reach by bus or bike. The office itself is pretty basic. We have got a few rooms where we keep our files and meet up to discuss the upcoming seasons. It is not the quietest place to work, but it keeps us in the middle of everything. We are not trying to be a big corporate firm. We are just local people who know about farming and want to make the business side of it a little smoother. Sometimes the stairs up to the first floor are a bit of a climb if you are carrying heavy bags, but we manage. We do not have any fancy signs or expensive logos. We just have our name on the door and our work to do. Most of our days are spent talking to members and trying to figure out the best way to move the produce. It is practical, everyday work for us here in Naraingarh. We focus on what is happening in the fields and keep the paperwork moving.
