Eisenia Vermi Farming (Opc) Private Limited

We operate out of Ambala Cantt, specifically at the home of Trilochan Kaur and Onkar Singh in Bohawa. It's a bit of a trek to get out here, near the Shahpur post office, but it’s where all the work happens. Eisenia Vermi Farming (Opc) Private Limited is mostly about the worms and the soil. We don't have a big fancy office building; we just use the space we have at the house and the land around it. It's a bit of a messy job, dealing with compost and vermiculture, but it’s honest work. We spend a lot of our time checking the beds and making sure the temperature is just right for the worms to do their thing. Ambala has its own rhythm, and we just follow along with the seasons. Neighbors stop by sometimes to see what we are doing with all that dirt. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just trying to make some good quality compost that actually works for the plants. It’s just a few of us handling the daily chores, turning the piles and bagging things up when they’re ready. There’s no big corporate ladder here, just regular people with dirt under their fingernails. We keep things simple and try not to overthink it. If the worms are happy, the business is doing okay. It’s rewarding to see the soil improve over time and knowing we had a small hand in it.
