Banaundi Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our office is at number 65 in Banaundi village, right near the sugar mill in Naraingarh. Being so close to the mill is actually pretty handy because that is where a lot of the action is during the season. We are a producer company, which basically means a bunch of us farmers from the Banaundi area decided to pool our resources together. We are not some big entity from the city. We are just the same people you see out in the fields every day. The office is a simple place, nothing fancy at all. We have some old desks and a few chairs where we sit and talk about the crops and the mill schedules. It can get pretty loud and busy around here when the sugar mill is running full tilt. The traffic with the tractors and trucks is something else. We spend our time trying to organize the harvest and making sure everyone gets a fair shake. It is hard work and there is always something that needs fixing or a form that needs filling out. We do not have any polished speeches about what we do. We just try to get the produce to where it needs to go without too many problems. If you are coming to see us, just look for the mill and you will find us nearby. It is an honest living and we are glad to be doing it. Most of the folks here have been farming since they were kids.
