Phoenix Commodity Export Pvt. Ltd. is located at 4402 in Dal Mandi, Ambala Cantt. Being in the Dal Mandi means we are right in the middle of all the grain trading and the hustle of the market. It is a very old part of town and it stays loud from dawn until late at night. Our office is surrounded by the sounds of carts moving and people shouting out prices. We deal with commodities that are meant for export, so there is always a lot of weighing and bagging going on. The air usually smells like dust and dried lentils. We have a small team here. Most of us have lived in Ambala for our whole lives. We know the local farmers and the other traders on the street. Sometimes we sit outside on stools and talk about how the crop is looking this year. The paperwork for exporting can be a real pain with all the forms and stamps needed, but we just chip away at it every day. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist.
