Shankra Agrotech Producer Company Limited

Our office is located at House Number 7 in Lajpat Nagar, right off Jalbera Road in Ambala City. It is a bit of a mix here because we are based in the city, but our hearts and our work are always out in the fields. Shankra Agrotech was started by a few of us who wanted to bring better techniques to the local farmers around Ambala. We are not some high-tech firm from a big city. We are locals who understand the daily struggles of the Haryana farmer. We spend a lot of time traveling between the city and the nearby villages to see how the crops are coming along. It involves a lot of coordination and talking to people. We help with getting the right inputs and making sure the farmers get a decent price when they sell their harvest. Sometimes the office gets a bit crowded with people coming in to talk about their problems or to ask about new seeds we might have found. We try to keep things organized, but it can get quite chaotic during the harvest time. We do not go in for all that corporate talk. We just want to make sure that agriculture in Ambala stays strong and that people can make a living. It is about being practical and finding solutions that actually work on the ground, not just on a piece of paper. We have been part of this community for a long time.
