Sanjeev Gupta

This is Village Raksa, and that is where Sanjeev Gupta operates from. It is a rural spot in the district, so life moves at its own speed here. We aren't in a big city with bright lights. Most of our work is done in a very simple building that has been here for years. We handle local trade and whatever else needs doing in the village. The roads here aren't always paved well, so getting goods in and out can be a bit of a challenge when it rains. We know everyone in Raksa, and they know us. It is the kind of place where you stop what you are doing to talk to someone walking by. We don't have computers in every corner or a high-tech setup. It is mostly ledger books and hand-written notes. The air is fresher here than in the town, but the work is still plenty tough. We spend a lot of time outdoors or in the storage area. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or work by the light from the door. We aren't trying to be a massive company. We just want to do our work and live our lives here in the district. It is a humble way to earn a living, but it feels right for us. We just take things one day at a time and see what needs to be fixed or moved as the seasons change.
