Bengali Mohalla in Ambala is where you’ll find us. We’re at house number 1156/1. It might seem like a strange place for a steel company, but it works for what we do. We’ve been here in Haryana for a long time. The street is narrow and you have to be careful when moving stuff in or out. It’s a very local vibe here. Everyone knows everyone else's business. We deal with a lot of heavy material, so there’s always the sound of metal moving around or trucks idling nearby. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the scraps and paperwork flying around. We don’t have a fancy receptionist or a big glass building. It’s more like a family-run feel where everyone chips in. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we’re always wiping down the desks. Ambala can get very cold in the winter and we definitely feel that in the office. We just put on extra sweaters and keep the tea flowing. It’s a basic life, but we like the work. Steel is a tough business and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We don’t have time for anything too formal. We just want to get the orders filled and keep things moving.
