Autopack

We are located at units 31 and 32 in the Industrial Estate. The company name is Autopack. We do a lot of work with packaging and machinery. The estate is a big place with lots of other workshops around us. It’s always noisy with the sounds of metal and trucks moving. We have a fair amount of space for our machines. We spend the day setting up equipment and making sure everything runs right. It’s a lot of technical stuff but we’ve been doing it for long enough. We aren't in a fancy office, just the industrial shed. There’s usually dust in the air and the smell of grease. We have a small team of workers who know their way around the gears. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big batch. The neighbors in the other units are good people. We help each other out with tools sometimes. It’s a straightforward life. We focus on the machines and the orders. The layout of the estate is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We’ve seen the business grow slowly over the years. We started with just one small unit. Now we have two. It’s just about keeping the machines humming and the customers happy with what we produce. The rain sometimes leaks through the roof, but we just move the machines and keep working. It's not perfect but it's ours and we work hard at it. It takes time to get things right.
