Our company is Gouransh Naraingarh Ambala Farmer Producer Company Limited and we are situated in Village Nagla, specifically the Naglarajputan part of Naraingarh. Raj Beer is the person who hosts our main office and keeps everything running smoothly. Being in the Ambala district, we have a lot of good land for farming and we try to make the most of it. We are a farmer producer group, so it’s all about the people who actually work the ground. We have members from all around Naglarajputan who bring their crops to us. It is quite a drive to the main town so having a local setup like this helps us a lot. Raj Beer has a small office where we keep the ledger books and talk about the upcoming seasons. Sometimes we have to deal with the government officials which can be a bit of a headache, but having the company makes us feel more official. We grow a variety of things here in Naraingarh and we are always looking at new ways to improve our yield without spending too much money. It’s a tight-knit community and everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. We are just trying to do right by our families and keep our farming traditions going while moving into the future slowly. There is always something to do on the farm so we don't spend too much time sitting around the office talking if we can avoid it.
