The Sagar School

If you go out towards Tijara in Alwar, you'll find The Sagar School. It’s been sitting on this patch of land for a long time. I spend most of my days here, seeing how the seasons change the view around the campus. It's a big place, and keeping it running takes a lot of hands. We have students coming from all sorts of places, not just right here in Alwar. The staff lives mostly nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. It’s not one of those schools where everything is stiff and quiet. Kids are running around, especially in the afternoons. We have the usual stuff like classrooms and a library, but mostly it's just about getting through the lessons. Sometimes the internet is slow or a pipe leaks, and we just fix it and move on. That’s just how it is. We don't spend much time on fancy brochures. People hear about us from their neighbors or relatives who went here years ago. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes, but once you’re inside the gates, it’s its own little world. We stay busy with the schedules and making sure the canteen has enough food for everyone. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’re used to it. The sunsets here in Tijara are actually quite nice if you catch them after work. It’s a good enough place for the children to grow up and learn their books.
