Government Adarsh Senior Secondary School

This is the government school in Ramgarh, Alwar. Since it is a senior secondary school, we have older students here, many of whom come from the villages surrounding the town. The building is older and has that specific look of government property with thick walls and high ceilings. We have a lot of students, so the hallways are always full during the passing periods. Being a government institution, we deal with a lot of paperwork and official visits throughout the year. The teachers here are assigned by the department, and they work hard to keep up with the large class sizes. It is a busy place, especially when board exams are approaching. You can see groups of students sitting under the trees in the courtyard during their free time, usually sharing notes or just talking about their homes. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some charts on the walls and the daily schedule posted near the office. The playground is quite large, but it is mostly just open ground where the boys play cricket after the final bell. Life in Ramgarh revolves around these local landmarks, and the school is one of them. We focus on the subjects required by the board and try to keep the classrooms functional. It is a place of routine, where the sound of the bell marks every part of the day from the first prayer to the last class.
