About Thakur Durgpal Singh Memorial B.Ed. College – Education in Alwar
The college is right there on Tijara Road in Alwar. It’s been here for a while now. We mostly deal with people who want to become teachers. The building isn't fancy or anything, just a regular place with some classrooms and a spot for the students to sit between lectures. Rajasthan can get pretty hot in the summer, so we try to keep the fans running. People from all over the Alwar district come here. Some travel a long way every day. We have a library that’s usually quiet, though sometimes it gets crowded before exams. The B.Ed course keeps everyone busy with all the practical work and files they have to write. Outside the gate, the traffic on Tijara Road is always moving. You can see the hills in the distance on clear days. It's just a normal day-to-day operation here. Our staff stays busy with paperwork in the office. The walls are painted a standard color and we have some trees in the front. Students often stand around the tea stalls nearby after their classes are done. It's a simple life at the college. We don't have big flashy signs, just the name on the wall. It feels like a part of the neighborhood now. People know us as the place on the way to the main city. It's not a complicated setup. We just keep things moving and help the students get through their training so they can find jobs in schools around the state.
