If you head down Kheri Road in Ramgarh, you will find us at building number 111. It is a place where a lot of local families send their children. Alwar can get pretty hot during the summer months, so we make sure the fans are always running in the classrooms. The school day starts quite early before the sun gets too high. You can hear the kids playing during their recess from quite a distance away. The building itself is straightforward and doesn’t have many decorations on the outside. We have a small area where students gather in the morning. Most of the teachers live nearby and walk to work, or they take the local buses. It’s a very local atmosphere here. Parents often stop by the gate to have a quick word with someone before they head off to their own jobs. The road outside gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, which is just how things are in this part of Rajasthan. We have different rooms for different grades, and the older students usually help the younger ones find their way around. It’s not a complicated setup. We just have our classrooms, some basic sports equipment for the kids to use, and a small office where we keep all the records. Life at the school follows a very steady routine, day after day, year after year, just keeping the rhythm of the neighborhood going. We don't worry about being fancy, we just focus on the lessons.
