Nd Ganga School

Mator Road is where you will find us, right in the Khairthal area of Alwar. It’s a pretty straightforward spot, not tucked away or anything. The school has been sitting here on this road for a good while, watching the traffic go by and the seasons change. In the winter, the mornings are a bit foggy and the kids come in wearing their thick sweaters and scarves. We spend a lot of time in the classrooms just getting through the lessons. Nd Ganga School isn't a massive place with glass walls or anything like that, just a solid building with enough room for the local kids to learn their basics. We see a lot of the same faces every year, brothers and sisters coming through one after the other. The walk from the main part of Khairthal isn't too bad, so many kids just walk over. There is always a bit of dust because of the road, but we try to keep the place tidy as best as we can. Our days are filled with the sound of the bell and children chatting during their lunch breaks. It’s a basic setup, really. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide a place for schoolwork and growing up. The neighborhood around Mator Road is pretty quiet otherwise, mostly just folks going about their business while we handle the teaching inside. The staff here is mostly from the local town, so we know the community well.
