Step By Step School

If you take a drive down Tijara Road in Alwar, you will see Step By Step School. It’s a local spot where a lot of the kids from around here spend their days. We aren't a massive institution, but we have enough room for the different grades. The atmosphere is usually a bit loud because children aren't really meant to be quiet all the time. We have some trees in the yard that give a bit of shade during the hotter months. The classrooms are basic with wooden benches and whiteboards. We don’t use a lot of complicated technology; we find that books and talking to the students works just as well. The teachers are regular people who live nearby and care about the town. They put in a lot of effort to make sure no one falls too far behind. We have parent-teacher meetings every now and then, and they can be quite long because everyone has something to say. We don’t have a fancy website or a lot of advertisements. Most of our students come to us because their older siblings went here. It’s a straightforward place. We open the gates in the morning, do the lessons, and send everyone home in the afternoon. It’s not a complicated operation, but it keeps the kids learning and gives them a routine to follow. That's just how we do things here in Alwar.
