Lords International School

Up here in Alwar, the air feels a bit different than in the bigger cities. Lords International School is part of this community, and we take that quite seriously without making a big fuss about it. We’re located in the 301001 area, which is central enough for people to get to us without too much trouble. The school day starts early, usually before the sun has really warmed up the stones of the building. I’ve lived in Alwar my whole life, so I’ve seen how much the town has changed, and the school has changed along with it. We have different wings for different ages, and it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. The playground gets a lot of use, and you can hear the kids from quite a distance away. We don’t have those polished brochures with staged photos. If you come by, you’ll see us as we are—maybe a little tired, maybe busy with paperwork, but always here. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff: maps on the walls, stacks of notebooks, and those old wooden desks. It’s a practical environment. We focus on making sure the kids actually learn something useful. There is always a list of things to fix or improve, like a squeaky gate or a dim light, but we take it one day at a time. It’s a decent place to work.
