Our office is up on the first floor of the Uco Complex on Aluva Road in Angamaly. It’s a pretty busy stretch of road, so there’s always something going on outside. Being in the complex means we have neighbors who run all sorts of businesses, from shops to other offices. We focus on software work here, which mostly involves us sitting in front of monitors for most of the day. It’s a quiet environment inside compared to the street noise downstairs. We’ve got a few rooms where we work on different projects. It isn’t a high-tech looking lab like you might see on TV; it’s just a regular office with computers, some tangled cables, and a few whiteboard sketches that haven't been erased in weeks. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused while we’re coding or fixing bugs. Most of us have lived around Angamaly for a long time, so we’re familiar with the area and the people. We aren't trying to be the next big global giant; we just want to build software that actually works for our clients. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep, but it’s good exercise. We like being in a place that feels connected to the local town while we do our technical work. Sometimes we just sit and talk about how the town has changed over the years since we first moved into the Uco Complex.
