We are located in the Kakkathuruthel Complex over in Chelad, Kothamangalam. This is a busy building and we’ve been in this spot for a good bit of time now. Mostly, the days are spent fixing broken screens or trying to figure out why someone’s laptop won't turn on. The shop is full of spare parts and half-finished projects. It might look a bit messy to someone walking in, but everything has its place. Computers can be a real headache, so we just try to make them work again without making it too complicated. There isn't a big team, just a few of us who know our way around a motherboard. People from around Kothamangalam bring their stuff in when they’re frustrated. While we work, we usually have some tea at the back. Sometimes a fix takes ten minutes, other times we’re scratching our heads until late at night. A fancy showroom isn't part of the setup. Shelves with old monitors and cables tangling up in the corners take up most of the space. It’s a practical place for practical problems. Being here from morning until the sun goes down is the routine, unless we have to go out to someone’s house to check a router. We just do the work and hope the machines behave for a while. A box of old cables sits in the corner, probably trash, but you never know when a specific power cord will come in handy. Kothamangalam has a lot of shops, but we’ve managed to stay busy here.
