Jungle View Lodge Restaurant

We are right here in Dhikuli, near the edge of the park. Mostly, it's just us keeping the place tidy and making sure folks get fed when they come back from their safari rides. It gets quite busy in the evenings when the sun goes down over the Garjia side. People usually find us because we are right on the road in Nainital district. It’s not a fancy place, just a simple spot with tables and a view of the trees. We spend a lot of time cleaning the kitchen and getting the vegetables ready for the day. Sometimes the monkeys come around, so we have to keep an eye out. The staff here has been around for a bit. We know the roads around Ram Nagar well enough to tell people where to go if they get lost. It is a quiet life for the most part, except when the tourist season hits hard. We just keep the stove going and make sure there is enough tea. It is a lot of work running a lodge restaurant. My cousin helps out with the accounts sometimes. We have been in this spot for a while now. Most days go by fast. We don't have a big team, just a few of us doing everything from washing floors to serving plates. It feels like home to us, and we hope it feels okay to you too when you stop by. It's a lot of steps to keep up.
