Megha Star Musical Group

Megha Star Musical Group is based over on Thornhil Road. We’re at number 30 in the Civil Lines area of Allahabad. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near Jagriti Hospital. It’s a busy street with lots of people, but we like it here. We are basically a group of people who love music and we’ve turned that into our daily work. We have instruments piled up in our space. Rehearsals can get a bit loud, so I hope the neighbors don’t mind too much when we practice. We do all sorts of musical performances for local events and gatherings around the city. It’s not just about playing the tunes; it’s also about getting all the heavy equipment to the venue on time. We’ve been doing this for years in Allahabad. Most of us grew up here and know the city very well. We spend a lot of time practicing our instruments. Sometimes we stay late into the night just to get a specific song right. It’s a simple setup we have here. We aren't some big famous band, just a local group that knows how to put on a good show. We handle everything from the singers to the musicians. People in Civil Lines know where to find us if they have a function coming up soon. We just want to play good music and keep the local tradition going. It’s a lot of travel around the city too. Every day is different depending on who calls us. We just pack the van and go where we are needed.
