We are based out of Beniganj in Allahabad City, specifically at 67/1F. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main market, but we are always doing something. Most of our gear is piled up in the back near GTB Nagar. We spend a lot of time checking ropes and making sure the equipment isn't getting worn out. It is not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. It is just a place where we sit down and talk about trips. We have been around Allahabad for a long time and know the local spots pretty well. Sometimes people come in just to ask about hiking or where to go for a weekend. We tell them what we know. It is a bit of a small operation, just a few of us who like being outside more than being inside. The walls are covered with old maps and some photos from past trips that are starting to fade. We don't have a receptionist, so if the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. It gets a bit hectic when we are preparing for a big group, with bags everywhere and people checking lists. We just like the adventure side of things and trying to make it work from this little corner of Beniganj. It is a practical way to live, even if the office is a bit cluttered with backpacks and tents most of the time.
