Sachinagnihotri

Living and working out of H.No.62/16 in the Type-III New Colony here in Kasimpur P.H. keeps me pretty busy. It’s a quiet corner of Aligarh but we have our moments. I’ve been Sachinagnihotri for as long as I can remember and this place is where everything happens. The colony is mostly families and workers from the power house nearby. You can hear the hum of the station sometimes if the night is still enough. My setup is nothing special. I have a desk, some chairs, and my papers. I didn't see the point in making it look like a corporate office because that’s not who I am. People around here know where to find me if they need a hand with something. The stairs up to the house are a bit narrow so watch your step if you ever visit. U.P. summers can be tough but the walls here are thick enough to keep the heat out for a bit. I spend a lot of time just sitting and making sure things are moving along. It’s a practical way to live. I don’t use a lot of big words to describe what I do. It’s just work. I’ve stayed in this spot because it’s convenient and everyone knows the landmark. It feels like a real community here in New Colony. Most days I'm just here doing my own thing and that's enough for me.
