I have my workspace set up in Baba Market on Ramghat Road. Most people know the area because of the Dominozz nearby. It’s a good landmark for finding me. I’ve been working in Aligarh for quite some time now. My day usually involves a lot of drawing and looking at site details. It’s just me and sometimes an assistant helping out with the paperwork. The market is quite lively, so there’s always something happening outside. I don't really have a big sign or anything flashy. People usually find me through someone they know. I deal with a lot of local building projects. Sometimes it’s a house, other times it’s a small shop. I prefer keeping things straightforward. I don't like using complicated jargon that nobody understands. We just talk about where the windows go and how much brick we need. Ramghat Road is a busy place to be, but Baba Market is a nice little corner. I spend a lot of hours here, even on weekends if a project is behind. It’s not a corporate setup at all. It’s just a place where I work. I’ve lived in Aligarh my whole life, so I know how people like things done here. I try to be practical about costs and materials because I know how hard people work for their money. It’s a simple business and I like it that way. No need for anything more. I just keep the doors open and get to work every morning.
