Jsw Hair Saloon

You can find our shop in Tan Dan Para, up in the Upperfort area of Aligarh. It’s an old part of the city, and the streets are very narrow and always full of life. Jsw Hair Saloon is just a small room with a couple of mirrors and some basic tools for the job. We’ve been working here for a long time. The neighborhood is very tight-knit, so we know everyone’s business and they usually know ours too. It’s a very simple setup. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy to bring people in. Most people find us because they live just down the lane or their fathers used to come here years ago. We do shaves, hair trims, and the occasional head massage when someone is feeling tired after work. The mirrors are a bit spotted with age, but they still do the job fine. We keep the razors sharp and try to keep the water warm for the shaves. It gets very hot in the summer, especially in these old brick buildings, but we manage with the fan. There is always someone sitting on the bench outside waiting their turn or just chatting with neighbors. We don’t rush through the work. Every customer gets the same attention, whether they’ve been coming for twenty years or just moved to Aligarh. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We open up the shutters every morning and close them when it gets dark.
