Carmel International School

If you drive down the Main Road in Punnapra, you will see Carmel International School. It’s located in Alappuzha, right in that 688004 area. The wind comes off the water sometimes, which is nice when it gets hot in the afternoons. Our school isn't trying to be something it's not. It is just a solid building where the students spend their days. The hallways are long and sometimes the echoes get a bit loud during the change of classes. We have some trees around the property that give a bit of shade. Punnapra is a well-known spot, so people usually find the address without much trouble. The building itself has seen a lot of students pass through its doors. Inside, you will find rows of desks and blackboards that have seen better days but still do the job. We don't have any of those shiny glass walls. It feels like a place where real work happens. The teachers bring their lunch in steel boxes and sit together in the break room. It's a very local feel. The school gate stays open for most of the morning. When the bell rings at the end of the day, the Main Road gets quite busy with kids heading home. Alappuzha is a beautiful place, and being situated right here makes sense for the families in this neighborhood. We just keep doing what we do every single day.
