Swarnandan Farmer Producer Company Limited is run out of House Number 296 in Pinjar. That’s in the Pinjarbarshitakli area of Akola district, 444001. We are a group of local people who decided it was time to work together. Akola is a tough place to farm sometimes because of the heat, but we make do. Our office is just a regular house in Pinjar. It’s where we keep the documents and meet to talk about the upcoming harvest. We don’t have any fancy signs or big advertisements. Most people around here find out about us just by talking to their neighbors. We are all pretty much in the same boat, trying to get a fair deal for what we grow.
