Shri Sant Kacharuji Maharaj Producer Company Limited operates out of Mhaisang in the Akola Rural area. We have our base at Sharad Govind Deshmukh’s place. We are a group of farmers who live and work in this rural stretch of Akola. The name we chose means a lot to us locally, but the work we do is very much on the ground. Farming here has always been the main way of life, and we just wanted to find a way to make it a little more organized for ourselves. It’s hard to handle the buying of supplies and the selling of produce when you are just one person with a small plot. By forming this producer company, we can talk to suppliers and buyers as a single group. We don't have any big corporate strategy. We just meet up in Mhaisang and talk about what’s happening in our fields. Some days are good and some are tough, especially when the weather isn't helping. We focus on the practical side of things, like sharing equipment or figuring out the transport for our goods. We are all local residents, and we’ve known each other for years. This company is just our way of supporting each other in the work we already do every day. It's about the land, the crops, and the people of Mhaisang trying to make a decent living from the soil.
