Patni Palace

Our place is situated on Dargah Road, right in the Chand Babri area of Dhan Mandi. If you know this part of the city, you know how narrow the streets can get and how much energy there is around here. We called it Patni Palace, though it’s more of a humble guest house and eatery than a real palace. We’ve been operating in this busy neighborhood for quite some time now. The location is key because so many people pass by on their way to the Dargah. We have rooms for travelers and a kitchen that stays busy most of the day. It’s a very old part of town, so the building has its quirks and the plumbing or electricity might act up occasionally, but we fix things as we go. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished website. We just talk to the people who walk through our doors. The food we serve is local and simple, meant to fill you up after a long day of walking. Our staff is like a small family, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s cleaning or cooking. It’s a noisy, vibrant area to be in, and there is never a dull moment. We see people from all over the country and even from abroad. We just try to provide a roof and a warm meal without making a big deal out of it. It’s a practical business for a busy street.
