Hotel Gulab Sagar

Our hotel is located right at Delhi Gate, sitting just behind Hotel Sobhraj. It’s a bit of a hidden spot because you have to look for us behind the bigger building. We have been in 305001 for quite some time now. The area around Delhi Gate is always moving, with people coming in from different parts of the city. We have a small team here, and we all pitch in with the cleaning and the paperwork. The building has some character, with narrow hallways and stairs that have been walked on by thousands of people. We don't have a lot of modern gadgets or high-tech systems. We use a big book to keep track of who is staying and we give out physical keys. It feels more personal that way, even if it is a bit slower. We spend a lot of time on the roof sometimes, looking out at the city skyline or checking the water tanks. The rooms are simple and functional, meant for people who just need a place to rest their heads for a night or two. We don't put on any acts here. If the fan makes a clicking sound, we fix it. If the floor is dirty, we mop it. It is just honest work in a busy part of town, and we are glad to be a part of the neighborhood.
