Narendra Kumar Soni

I’ve been here in Kishangarh Madanganj for a while now. Most days start pretty early because the sun gets quite hot later on in the afternoon. It’s just me, Narendra Kumar Soni, handling things here. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where I get the daily work done. You probably know the area, it stays busy with trucks and people moving around all the time. Sometimes the dust is a bit much, but that’s just how it is here. I spend a lot of my time sitting at the desk or talking to people who drop by for a chat. It’s not like those big companies you see in the city. We don't have a lot of staff running around. It’s a bit quieter than the main market, but not by much. People come in with questions or just to settle their accounts. I usually have a cup of tea around eleven when the noise outside picks up. It’s been a long journey staying in one spot for so many years. You get used to the familiar faces passing by the window. I try to keep things organized, but there’s always a pile of papers somewhere that needs looking at. It’s just honest work day in and day out.
