Amrit Kumar

I’m located over in the Civil Lines area. My name is Amrit Kumar and this is where I’ve set up my things. Civil Lines is usually one of the better-known parts of town, so most people don't have a hard time finding where I am. It’s got that old feeling to it with the wide streets and the trees. I don't have a huge office or anything like that. It’s just a regular space where I can sit down and get my work done without too much distraction. I’ve lived in this city for most of my life, so staying in Civil Lines made the most sense when I started out. The mornings are usually the best time here before the traffic picks up. I don't really believe in having a lot of bells and whistles. I keep things pretty simple. My desk is usually covered in papers and my phone rings a fair bit, but that’s just how it goes. Some people think you need a big flashy sign to be noticed, but I’ve found that just being here and being consistent is enough. If you’re walking around this part of town, you might see me. It’s a comfortable spot and it serves me well. I don't have plans to move. I’m just Amrit Kumar, and this is my little corner of Civil Lines where I stay busy every day. It’s a quiet life but I like it that way. No fuss and no bother. Sometimes the street noise gets in, but mostly it's just me and the work.
