Abdul Rashid Advocate

My office is over at Chand Babri, right at number 6. It is a small place but it serves the purpose. I spend most of my days surrounded by files and stacks of old papers that seem to grow every week. Being an advocate here means you see a bit of everything. People come in with all sorts of problems, some big and some small. I mostly just listen and try to figure out the best way to move forward with the law. The building is old, and you can hear the street noise from the window, but you get used to it after a while. I don’t have a big team helping me out; it is usually just me and occasionally someone to help with the filing. I like the neighborhood because it feels lived-in and real. There is a tea shop nearby where I go when I need a break from the paperwork. Dealing with courts and legal stuff can be a slow process, so patience is something I’ve had to learn. I don't use a lot of big words when I’m talking to people because they just want to understand what is happening with their case. It is a humble practice, and I try to keep it that way. Most of my clients are locals who just need some honest advice on how to handle their affairs without spending a fortune on big firms.
