Hotel Lmb & Gr Restaurant

If you are down by Gau Ghat near Bramha Chowk on Jaipur Road, you will probably see our place, Hotel Lmb & Gr Restaurant. It is a fairly straightforward setup where we have the restaurant on one side and the hotel rooms for anyone needing a place to stay for the night. Being near the ghat means there is usually some activity nearby, especially in the mornings when people are headed down to the water. We open the restaurant pretty early to get things ready for breakfast, and the smell of cooking usually fills the front area by the time the sun is up. The furniture is nothing special, just sturdy stuff that can handle a lot of people coming in and out. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit chaotic when we have a lot of orders at once, but we manage to get through it. I spend a lot of my time checking on the rooms to make sure the linens are clean and the bathrooms are working right. It is a lot of physical work, walking up and down the stairs and talking to different people all day long. We don't have any fancy slogans or big signs, just the name of the place and the address on the wall. It’s a family-run kind of operation where everyone chips in where they can. We focus on the daily chores and making sure the guests have what they need for their stay near the chowk.
