Living and working in the HMT Township on Beawer Road is a specific kind of life. If you've ever been to Ajmer, you know how the sun hits the hills. Our office is in the B4 Type V area, which is part of the old layout here. It’s a quiet place mostly, away from the main rush of the city. We deal with machine tools and technical stuff, so our desks are usually covered in drawings and manuals. The buildings are older, but they have high ceilings which helps when the Rajasthan summer starts to heat up. We walk to work most days because the township is laid out that way. It feels like a small village where everyone knows what the other person is doing. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the technicians and the office staff, trying to keep things running. Sometimes we sit outside during lunch if the weather is nice, watching the monkeys or just chatting about the day's tasks. The Beawer Road carries a lot of trucks, so there’s always a bit of background noise from the traffic. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We’ve seen the town grow and the machinery change over the years, but the basic rhythm of the work remains the same. It’s not flashy, but it’s our corner of Ajmer and we’re used to it.
