Ganeshi Lal Agarwal

If you find yourself near Madar Gate you will probably see our spot at 13516. Ganeshi Lal Agarwal is an old name around these parts and we have been operating out of this same area for quite a long time now. The gate area is always packed with people and rickshaws so it can be a bit chaotic right outside our front door. Inside though we try to keep things organized enough so we can find what we need when a customer asks. It is a traditional kind of setup with old wooden counters and shelves that have been there since the beginning. We don't have fancy lights or air conditioning that works all the time but it feels like home to us. Most of the people who come in are locals who have been living in the city for generations. We know many of them by their first names and they know us too. It is the kind of business where a lot of time is spent just talking about the weather or how the local market is doing that week. We open up early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool and we stay until the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy and we like being right in the middle of all the action at Madar Gate. We don't need much more than our regulars and our daily routine.
