Zofresh Farms Private Limited

Zofresh Farms Private Limited is based out of Aizawl, specifically at House No. T-23 in the Tuikhuahtlang area. This is where Hmangaihzuali V lives and where we manage most of the day-to-day things for the farm business. Living in Mizoram, especially in a hilly city like Aizawl, makes transportation a real headache sometimes. We deal with fresh produce, so timing is everything for us. If the roads are blocked or there’s a landslide, it really messes up our whole week. We aren't a big corporation with lots of staff; it’s mostly just a few of us making sure things get from the farms to the houses in the city. The 796001 area is our home and we know all the shortcuts and the people around here. We spend a lot of our mornings checking on the quality of the vegetables and fruits. It’s messy work sometimes, and our hands are rarely clean, but that’s the nature of the job. We don't have any big mission statements or glossy brochures. We just want to make sure the food is fresh when it reaches people’s tables. It’s a simple goal but it takes up all of our time. Sometimes we stay up late just to sort out the deliveries for the next morning. It is a lot of work, but we are used to the pace by now.
