Sonal Brick Industries

We are set up in the MIDC Industrial Area. Being in an industrial zone like this means we are surrounded by all kinds of factories, but our focus is strictly on bricks. It’s a large area, and we’ve carved out our spot where we handle the production. The process is pretty repetitive—mixing, molding, drying, and firing—but it keeps us busy. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. We just deal directly with the contractors and individuals who come to the MIDC looking for building supplies. The dust is a constant presence, and we’ve all got used to it by now. We try to keep a good stock ready because you never know when a big order might come in. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area, which can slow us down, but we find ways to keep going. We aren't interested in sounding corporate; we’re just people who know how to make bricks. Most of our days are spent outdoors or near the kilns, checking the temperature and the quality of the batches. It’s steady work, and we’ve been doing it long enough to know the ins and outs of the local market. There is always something to do, whether it’s stacking the finished product or prepping the next batch of raw material. We just take it one day at a time here. Usually, it's a six-day week for us, and the yard gets pretty quiet on Sundays.
