Om Sai Paverblock Industries

Our workshop is down in Kasarwadi village, which is part of the Sangamner taluka. We spend our days making paver blocks out in the open. It’s a lot of concrete and molds. We start early before the sun gets too high because mixing the materials is heavy work. The village is quiet, but our yard stays busy with the sound of the mixer running. We have piles of sand and cement everywhere. It’s a mess sometimes, but that’s how you make things. We have a small crew of guys from around the district. Most of us have been doing this for years. We don’t have a website or anything fancy. If someone needs pavers for their driveway or a walkway, they usually just drive down to Kasarwadi and find us. We show them the different shapes we have sitting in the stacks. Sometimes we run out of a certain color and have to wait for the next batch to dry. It takes time for the blocks to set right. We don't rush it. The weather matters a lot for our work. If it rains, we have to cover everything up fast with plastic sheets. It’s just us doing the work day by day. We have a small shed where we keep our boots and gloves. It is a straightforward business without any complications. We just focus on getting the blocks made and loaded onto the trucks for whoever needs them.
