We’re located right on the Pune-Nashik Highway, near the Pravara Service Station in Sangamer Khurd. Being on the highway means there’s never a quiet moment. You’ve got trucks and cars zooming by at all hours of the day and night. Samarth Bricks Pvt. Ltd. is a bit of a landmark for people who travel this route often. We’ve got the kilns set up back from the road, but the main entrance is easy to spot next to the service station. It’s a busy operation. We have to coordinate a lot of transport because of our location, so someone is always looking at a clipboard or talking to a driver. The dust from the road and the brick making tends to settle on everything, so it’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s a working site. We don't have a big corporate headquarters, just a simple building where we manage the staff and the orders. Most of us have been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the highway change and grow over the years. It’s a tough job sometimes, standing out there in the wind and sun, but we get it done. We don't use any fancy talk to describe what we do. We just make bricks and sell them to people who need them for their buildings. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way.
