Sarvoday High School

Savedi is a busy part of Ahmednagar, and we are right on Pipeline Road. Sarvoday High School has been a fixture here for quite some time. If you live around here, you probably know where we are. The road outside is always full of traffic, so there’s a constant hum of engines. Inside the school, it’s a bit different. We have our classrooms arranged around a central area. It’s a high school, so the students are a bit older and more independent. They hang out near the walls or under the few trees we have during their breaks. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in through the main entrance and you’re there. The building is made of concrete and has stood up to the weather over the years. We focus on getting through the syllabus. The teachers have their own way of doing things, and it works for us. We see a lot of the same families year after year. It’s a local school for local kids. There’s a small shop nearby where everyone gets their snacks. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place for learning and growing up in the Savedi area. The gate stays open for the kids to come and go at the right times, and we just keep the clocks running. It’s a simple routine that everyone here knows by heart.
