About Dadasaheb Rupwate Vidyalay And Junior College – Education in Ahmednagar
We are over in the Manapa Building on Chitale Road, which is a pretty central spot in Ahmednagar. Being in an older building means we have high ceilings and those heavy doors that have been around for years. Since we have both the Vidyalay and the Junior College here, there is always a mix of younger kids and the older teenagers hanging around the hallways. It gets quite crowded during the shift changes between the morning and afternoon sessions. You see the 11th and 12th graders rushing to their science labs while the younger ones are just finishing up their language classes. The staircases are narrow, so we have to tell them to slow down all the time. Our office is usually cluttered with admission forms and old registers piled up on the desks. It is a busy atmosphere because we are right in the heart of the city. Sometimes the noise from the street comes in through the windows, but everyone is used to it by now. We don't have much of a fancy garden, but we make use of every bit of space we have for the classrooms. The teachers drink their tea in the small break room and talk about the upcoming exams. It is just a practical place for students to come and get their work done. We try to keep the fans working and the lights on, focusing on the daily routine. Everything here at Dadasaheb Rupwate Vidyalay And Junior College is very straightforward.
