We’ve been running this place in Khadakewake for a good while now. It’s right there in Shirdi, so it’s easy enough to find if you know the area. The building isn’t anything fancy to look at, just a regular school with some trees around it. Most of us who work here live nearby too. We see the same faces every single morning when the gates open at eight. It gets pretty dusty out this way, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. Classes start early before the sun gets too hot for the kids to focus. We’ve got a playground in the back, but the equipment is getting a bit old and could use some new paint when we find the time. We try our best to keep things organized. Parents often drop by just to chat or ask about how their kids are doing in class. It’s a loud place most of the day, especially during the lunch break when everyone is running around the yard. We have a small room for the teachers where we drink tea and talk about the week. The school has grown a lot since the early days. We don't have all the newest gadgets or computers, but the books are okay. Finding people who want to work out here takes some effort, but we manage. The kids seem to enjoy themselves, and that’s the main thing. We stay open until about four in the afternoon.
